Wedding Ceremonies
I am available to perform traditional as well as interfaith and non-denominational wedding ceremonies. I work with every couple individually to ensure that they receive what they are looking for from their ceremony. Once contacted, I will arrange for a time to meet to discuss your upcoming day. Together, we discuss everything from length of ceremony to desired content. I am comfortable with placing as much or as little religious content into your ceremony as you desire with the goal of making the day spiritual and comfortable for the couple.
Baby Naming Ceremonies
A baby naming is the day when a child receives their official Hebrew name. It is a special day for the entire family and more importantly, for the parents. Once contacted, I will arrange for a time to meet to discuss your child's baby naming and what you hope to get out of the ceremony and the day in general.
Bar/Bat Mitzvahs
In addition to performing the actual ceremonies, I am available to provide individual instructions for your child in preparation for his/her bar/bat mitzvah. Once contacted, we can discuss the day and what you hope to achieve out of the ceremony. We can also outline the type of information that your child will have to learn and discuss the number/frequency of individual sessions that you wish your child to have in preparation for the ceremony. I emphasize to all Bar/Bat Mitzvah students and their parents that the important thing is to understand the meaning of the day and make sure that the educational experience leading up to the ceremony is without stress for both the student and the parent.
Funerals and Unveilings
Please contact me for funeral, memorial, or unveiling ceremonies. I perform these services in the tri-state area and can be of assistance to you and your family during these difficult times.
